East Cleveland City Schools will give families at least 10 school days' notice before:
- Changes to the school calendar or school-day schedule, including no-school days, early dismissals, and delayed starts
- Parent-teacher conferences and other events families are asked to attend
- Deadlines families must meet, such as forms, registration, and sign-ups
How you will be notified: by phone call, text, and email through our district messaging system, and on the district calendar at https://eastclevelandschools.org/calendar/
Exceptions: Emergencies such as weather, building, or safety issues may not allow 10 school days' notice. When that happens, we will tell families as soon as a decision is made and explain why less notice was given.
