Sports Medicine and Exercise Science

The Exercise Science and Sports Medicine CTE program prepares students for real-world careers in health, fitness, and athletic performance. Students build a strong foundation in human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and sports injuries—learning how the body moves, how to prevent and treat injuries, and how to guide recovery.

Learning goes far beyond textbook theory. Through step-by-step instruction and hands-on lab practice, students learn skills first by watching, then practicing together, and finally applying techniques on their own. Daily written evaluations and discussions help students sharpen their critical thinking and develop the clear communication skills needed to work with future clients and patients.
