What did you want to be when you grew up?
A dentist, then a vet, then a Spanish teacher, then a math teacher.

This is year 1
What is your favorite part of Your principalship?
My students.
If you were a teacher before this, do you miss the classroom?
The classroom, no, but when I was in a coaching/central office position I did miss the students, their antics, and the relationships I could build. That is why i came back to the building side of schools.

Dessert - all of them..

What is something a student has said or done that made you proud of your work?
We have a lot of students making better choices at Kirk. They are removing themselves from situations and/or people that can bring them down, get them in trouble, or cause issues. It takes a lot for middle school students to make good decisions and not go with the crowd.
