The ECCS Comms Team asked school principals to provide some information about themselves so we could get to know them better.  Shawna LeSure gently corrects us with her "principalship" profile.  Thank you!

What is something a student has said or done that made you proud of your work?

Throughout my career there have a few instances where I have been proud of the work I have done in the East Cleveland City School District. I was most proud of my work in education when I received a handwritten letter from my former fifth grade Caledonia student detailing how I influenced her to become a teacher. One of her college professors had assigned the students to write a letter to someone who inspired them to become a teacher. I still cherish that letter today, and she is now an Instructional Coach working on her Ph.D.
